Move freely around Bistrampolis Manor
At Bistrampolis Manor, the architects planned the manor house, which was built in 1850, according to the countries of the world. When the Neoclassical manor house was restored this century, the builders carefully preserved everything that could be preserved, and designed the interior on the basis of surviving descriptions. The manor house still has the original wooden stairs and railings, as well as authentic wooden beams that the restorers exposed by installing glass floors on the upper floor. The restored manor house now features eco-friendly hotel rooms and a restaurant. Guests can also spend a pleasant time at the small spa. The entire Bistrampolis Manor complex is ideal for travellers with special needs: the manor house is easily accessible via a special ramp, and there is a lift that can be used to move between floors. Furthermore, there are no doorsteps in the conference and concert rooms (where the Bistrampolis Music Festival is held every year), and all of the halls and hotel bathrooms have easy, convenient access. For sports enthusiasts, the renovated manor park has a tennis court and a basketball court. Visitors can also go horseback riding, fish in the manor ponds, or explore the surroundings – the Pašiliai European bison sanctuary, Krekenava Regional Park and the Paberžė manor and church are right nearby.
