Lithuanian food culture is like an interesting salad mix made of different traditions, old recipes and gifts provided by generous Mother Nature. Recipes that have been passed from one generation to another often surprise travellers, but for us they are part of our daily lives or celebrations: kugelis (kugel) and cepelinai (zeppelins), kastinys (sour cream butter) and šakotis (spit cake), beer and wine brewed by Northern Lithuanian brewers, bearing the scent of our own berries. The journey always begins and ends at the table, so bon appétit.
